Hockey

Join our hockey team (womens and mens) in weekly training sessions, regular socials and compete in the BUCS league. University students only. College students can join Hartpury Active Hockey here.

Agriculture Society
We like to connect Hartpury students together around the topic of where our food comes from. We welcome all Hartpury students who want to learn more about this subject. We plan to host trips, webinars, guest speakers, socials and much more.

Equestrian Society
If you want to ride during your time at Hartpury, then Equestrian Club is open to everyone, regardless of what course that you are on. We provide a fun and supportive environment to meet other people who love horses! Riding lessons for non horse-owners are available onsite or at Hayswood Equestrian Centre.​
Horse owners can benefit from progression programmes, group flat or jump lessons and a range of exciting clinics and training sessions. All members will also receive 10% off separate Hartpury riding lessons. Non-ridden activities are included too!

Polo Club
Members can participate in polo lessons held at Beaufort Polo Club for a discounted price and compete against other universities. You don't need previous polo (or horse) experience to join this club.
You will need your own riding hat and appropriate riding footwear as these aren’t provided. It is possible for a car share - we'll discuss when you join!

LGBT+ Society
​The LGBTQ+ Society is here to spread equality, diversity and awareness throughout the campus and is open to everyone irrespective of their sexual orientation, gender, age and race.
The overall aim is to fundraise, run social events and provide a safe space for those questioning or otherwise. We have achieved implementing gender-neutral toilets on campus and hope to continue our campaigns.

Breeding & Showing Society
We are society focused on general breeding and showing, including ethics, traits and characteristics. We host events throughout the year for fun and plan to host some equestrian themed events such as showing (in-hand and ridden). We also assist students with contacts for work experience, dissertation, etc.

Sustainability Society
In the sustainability society, we aim to discuss how sustainability can be implemented on the Hartpury campus and in student life. We also strive to educate and learn alongside the student body on various sustainable topics within and outside of university and college course areas, as well as giving students a voice to express their concerns and propose solutions regarding sustainability within the Hartpury campus.
