Liberation Representatives
What is a Liberation Representative?
Liberation Representatives (Lib Reps) are student volunteers within the SU, who strive to represent and advocate for students from minority groups. Lib Reps are free to shape their role however they see fit, which may include sitting on Hartpury forums, running events to raise awareness, advocating for change, and much more. The SU is here to support all Lib Reps achieve their goals.
Any student can be a Lib Rep, even if they do not have extensive lived experience of the students they choose to represent. They are also not bound to representing singular groups of students, they are free to self-identify within multiple groups.

About Ylva!
Course: Access to Higher Education - Land Based Studies (animal)
Broad goals:
- Improve quality of life for disabled students.
- Give the mature students on college courses more opportunities to socialise with people in their age group.
- Offer better clarity of information and resources to international students.

Wellbeing & Inclusivity Officer
The Lib Reps work closely with the Wellbeing and Inclusivity Officer, who helps them set their goals, execute campaigns and projects, and provides support and guidance. They are also the Lib Rep's main point of contact.
They meet together on a monthly basis to network with other Lib Reps, and ensure they have all of the resources and support they need.
